The Asus ProArt P14 is worth it for creators who want a thin 14-inch machine with a top-tier screen: 3 critics average 8.7 out of 10, praising the tandem OLED and RTX Spark performance but faulting the high price and 32 GB memory ceiling. This page is a consensus of published reviews, not hands-on testing.
Is the ProArt P14 worth it?
The three reviews land close together, at 9, 9 and 8 out of 10. Reviewers agree it is a beautiful, capable laptop built around Nvidia's RTX Spark chip. They also agree it is expensive, with typical review pricing around $3099.99, and that gaming is not its strongest suit.
What critics loved
The display is the headline. Notebookcheck called the 14-inch 2880 x 1800 tandem OLED with 120 Hz excellent, and Trusted Reviews described it as gorgeous and bright. T3 went with luscious and noted 100% DCI-P3 coverage.
Build and design also scored well. Notebookcheck praised the slim, lightweight metal chassis, which Trusted Reviews put at 1.48kg and 13.9mm thick. Trusted Reviews called the chassis stylish and well-appointed, and T3 said the design is gorgeous.
Performance impressed the critics too. Trusted Reviews found the RTX Spark impressive and singled out its integrated graphics, while T3 called the N1X a powerful chip in everyday use. Notebookcheck noted stable performance on battery power.
Input and ports got credit as well: Notebookcheck liked the comfortable keyboard and haptic touchpad, Trusted Reviews cited a comfortable keyboard, huge trackpad and excellent port selection, and T3 listed HDMI, three USB-C, USB-A and a full-size SD card reader.
Where it falls short
Price is the common complaint. Notebookcheck flagged $3719 for the 32 GB model, Trusted Reviews called it expensive for the spec, and T3 said it is super pricey.
Memory is the next worry. Notebookcheck noted the soldered RAM tops out at 32 GB, and Trusted Reviews said 32GB of unified memory can limit local AI work.
Gaming disappoints. Trusted Reviews noted that laptops with discrete GPUs offer more gaming grunt, and T3 said gaming does not live up to the hype. T3 also reported some compatibility woes on Windows on ARM.
Notebookcheck alone raised battery life, calling it not great despite the 90 Wh battery, though Trusted Reviews' verdict mentions long battery life, so critics differ here. Notebookcheck also found PWM flicker below 70% brightness, a mediocre 1080p webcam and no SD Express support.
Who should buy it
Creators who value a color-rich screen, a light chassis and strong everyday performance will find the most to like. It suits people who can live with 32 GB of memory and who do not need a gaming-first laptop. Anyone who cares most about price, gaming frame rates or maximum RAM should look elsewhere.
